Summary: Dee and Ryo are finally ready to try out being retired.

A/N: This one’s a drabble and a half, 150 words.
Lives went by so fast. Dee and Ryo had retired from the force almost twenty years ago, taking over McGinty’s bar to keep themselves occupied and still connected to their friends at the NYPD. By then everyone had known they were a married couple, and were amazed they’d succeeded in keeping their relationship a secret for so long.
Life had been good, but now that Ryo was seventy-five, they’d decided to hand the bar over to someone younger. It was time they gave full retirement a try, while they were still fit enough to enjoy it; maybe they’d travel a bit, see some of the places they’d always said they’d visit someday.
Old age didn’t have to be the end, it was simply the next stage of their lives, and they intended to make the most of it. With no responsibilities to tie them down, the world was their oyster.
