A/N: I love this week’s prompt, it allows me to address something that’s been annoying me in my writing. Somewhere between ‘Capturing The Beast’ and ‘Out Of Coffee’, I somehow turned Nosy from brown with bits of green into a green creature, so…

Jack found Ianto leaning on the railing outside his office, staring intently at something, a puzzled expression on his face.

“What’re you looking at?”

“Nosy.”

“Oh. Why?”

“Well, when we found it in all that dead bracken…”

“When you stepped on it you mean.”

“Whatever. It was really well camouflaged, rusty brown with a few green bits, just like the bracken it was hiding in.”

“What’s your point?”

“Is it just me or does it look a whole lot greener now?”

Jack took a long look at Nosy, who was mooching about the Hub.

“Huh, now that you mention it…”
