Summary: It’s winter, time to get out those sweaters!

A/N: Song title = drabble title. It’s just easier that way.

Jack flung open the curtains of his and Ianto’s bedroom and stared out the window. Everywhere was a fairyland of winter white, with big, fat, fluffy flakes drifting endlessly down. It was quite hypnotic.

Smiling, he stood watching the snow. Even after all this time it amazed him. He’d grown up in an arid, desert climate; never saw snow until he left Boeshane.

Ianto stirred in the bed behind him, drawing Jack’s attention away from the window.

“Rise and shine, gorgeous! Better bundle up, looks like sweater weather today!”

Ianto groaned and burrowed deeper beneath the covers.

“I hate winter.”

Jack's a big kid at heart.

Well, yes, but Jack can't keep Ianto warm THAT way when they're outside on Torchwood business, so he has to rely on some warm woolies to do it for him in public. Doing anything else in public in this weather would freeze their bits off.

But Ianto isn't willing to risk his own bits - his won't grow back. Jack really needs to be more careful with Ianto's bits.

Oh dear. Now Jack's dashing to the shops for fleecy long johns. I think Ianto is not going to be pleased with me for putting that idea in Jack's head! ;)

Normally I agree with Ianto but I am with Jack on the sight of the first snowflakes of winter. Then after about a month of snow I am with Ianto. Ianto would look good in a nice blue Irish fisherman sweater.:)

I just don't like snow. It's pretty enough at first, but way too cold and it makes everything slippery. Jack, of course, is just a big kid at heart!

Guess Jacks like me in a way I come From a country that rarely sees snow so I still love it so much now that I have it every winter.

We've had snow where I live quite badly the last three years - bably for our area anyway. I really don't like it, it's too cold and slippery!

LOL--Jack *would* be one of those winter people, wouldn't he? Always going on about how "bracing" the chilly air is and wanting to do things in the snow! Poor Ianto just doesn't see the appeal!

I would enjoy winters more if they weren't so cold. And dark. Other than that, they're fine. ;)

LOL! Exactly. I don't mind winter, I just don't like it being cold and dark. Sums up my thoughts on the matter perfectly.

Jack is always enthusiastic about things that Ianto would rather avoid. I'm sure he likes being out in the rain too, while Ianto huddles under a brolly wishing it would just stop and let him dry out.
