Summary: Dee and Ryo are heading to Las Vegas to get married.

A/N: This one’s a triple drabble.
Even after he accepted that he was in love with his work partner, the idea that they might one day get married had never so much as crossed Ryo’s mind. He hadn’t given any thought to entering into a Civil Partnership with Dee either, believing that such things would only complicate matters. Trying to keep their relationship secret from the people they worked with was difficult enough after they started dating, and moving in together hadn’t made things any easier.
Nevertheless, here they were, preparing to head down to Las Vegas. Their friends thought they were off on vacation to do a bit of gambling and catch a few shows on the Strip, but in reality they were… what? Eloping? Something like that anyway.
They hadn’t even told family members of their intentions; nobody knew. But they’d booked the Honeymoon Suite at a five-star hotel, Dee had made arrangements at one of the many wedding chapels, and they’d even bought new suits for the occasion. Dee said since they were only going to do this once they should make sure to do it right, and Ryo couldn’t argue with that.
“Have you got the rings?”
“Right here.” Dee held up the box before tucking it at the bottom of his suitcase for safety. “Nervous?”
“Maybe a little. I’m just worried something might go wrong.”
Dee grinned. “Weddings never go off without a hitch,” he joked. “That’s the whole point of them.”
Ryo shook his head, smiling. “Idiot. Better get a move on; the taxi will be here in a few minutes and the last thing we need is to miss our flight.”
“All done.” Dee fastened his suitcase and put it beside Ryo’s as the apartment door. “By this time tomorrow we’ll be married.”
“I know.” Ryo could scarcely wait.
