Summary: The inside of the TARDIS is such a maze it’s easy to get lost.

‘How does the Doctor not get lost in here?’ Donna wondered as she wended her way through the mazy jumble of rooms and corridors that made up the interior of the TARDIS.


The Doctor had given her detailed directions to the vast room he called the wardrobe before sending her off to change into something suitable for the time period they were visiting, but she had a horrible feeling she’d taken a wrong turn somewhere along the way, because surely this narrow little passageway couldn’t lead to where she wanted to go.


Maybe she should go back and start again.

I'm sure the TARDIS can telepathically know if a companion needs help where to go.

I'm sure she could just make a line appear marking out a route when needed rather than having a permanent one.

I should have known Donna wouldn't really do that. Not with a permanent marker anyway.

The TARDIS would not approve of permanent marker being used on her person. The Doctor probably wouldn't either, although he might do it himself if he needed to write something down and didn't have any paper handy *envisions equations scrawled on his bedroom walls*

The Doctor would be in trouble! Twelve has a blackboard in the console room doesn't he? Maybe that's to stop him writing on walls...
