Doctor Who Drabble: Chaotic
May. 5th, 2018 06:34 pmTitle: Chaotic
Author:
badly_knitted
Characters: Donna, Tenth Doctor.
Rating: G
Written For: Challenge 224: Hugger-Mugger at
dw100.
Spoilers: Nada.
Summary: Donna finds the Doctor’s way of life chaotic.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.
The Doctor’s lifestyle was impossibly haphazard and chaotic. One day they’d be on an alien planet, the next they might be in the distant past, or on a far future space station.
The interior of the TARDIS seemed to be as disorganised as the Doctor himself, with rooms appearing and disappearing at random; it was a wonder he could ever find anything. Hugger-mugger, that’s what her Granddad would call it; he’d be right at home, but Donna was an orderly person, organised and efficient as befitted a temp. She wasn’t used to such a topsy-turvy life. She’d sort him out.

Date: 2018-05-18 10:52 am (UTC)Imagination goes a long way when your still a child.
I remember my mum brought my brother and I to a new opening of a big lego store at a local shopping center. It was a big day for us as kids back in the eighties to get a new toy each.:)

Date: 2018-05-19 09:41 am (UTC)I've always had a very strong imagination, I've been making up stories in my head since I was little, it's only been the last 10 years I've been writing them down and sharing them though.

That's why I "escape" in family shows like Doctor Who. Even momentarily.

Date: 2018-05-22 10:32 am (UTC)Books are very good friends indeed!
It is me who will lose track of them around my house. I read them upstairs and downstairs. I'm reading books on various topics these days. I use to get absorbed in romance novels.:)

Date: 2018-05-23 11:22 am (UTC)My teenage years, it was adventure and mystery novels. After recent events, I'm over sappy romance stories. I've become more realistic about paternership.
I can't get into any recent Scifi shows because I can't find the start of the series link on my Foxtel. I just finish watching series Five of Elementary and watch reruns of Bones because of the vocabulary.
If you read during the day, would that help decrease the scariness of a horror novel?
