Title: Incongruous
Author:
badly_knitted
Characters: PC Andy Davidson, Eleventh Doctor.
Rating: G
Written For: Challenge 215: Red / Blue at
dw100.
Spoilers: Nada.
Summary: PC Andy Davidson comes across something odd while on patrol.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.
The blue police box was an incongruous sight, something that had once been familiar but had long since fallen out of use.
Where this one had come from was anybody’s guess. Andy Davidson was sure it hadn’t been here earlier; he’d have noticed. Perhaps it was a prop for a TV show, or possibly a hoax, or a student prank.
The door opened and a dishevelled head poked out. “Hello there! What year is this?”
“Um, 2005.”
“Oh bother, I’m early.” The head vanished and with a grinding sound, the blue box faded out.
Andy shrugged. He’d seen stranger things.

Date: 2018-04-11 10:47 am (UTC)Eight started the kissing trend. Silly boy!
He was, you would have liked him. He was a nice guy too.

Date: 2018-04-11 12:26 pm (UTC)Eight said he was half human?!
RTD, continued to run with the "everybody kisses the Doctor or vice versa" trend. Then Moffat continued that marathon.
I wonder what we will have next?
A really nice guys. I'm glad that you at least meet one.:)
There are some guys that may act like they are nice but they are not.:(

Date: 2018-04-12 10:25 am (UTC)RTD loves one sided love affairs, where one person has all the power and treats the other badly.
I met quite a few genuinely nice guys among the students, and even some of the professors. I loved working there.

Date: 2018-04-18 12:43 pm (UTC)I know some people don't want to acknowledge that it happened. Eric Roberts as the Master could be part of it.
RTD has co-dependency issues.
I'm not sure where that series "Bob and Rose" fits but that was loosely based on a real life couple.
Did you now?;)

Date: 2018-04-19 10:46 am (UTC)Apparently, RTD said he based it on a real life friends experience so take it how you want to.
The story should have been that Bob was bisexual and it was all new to Rose.

Date: 2018-04-20 11:49 am (UTC)I suppose so. Bob had a best friend and she was in love with him and he falls for Rose instead.

Date: 2018-04-21 10:44 am (UTC)It starts off with a taxi driver making sleazy comments to Rose so she bails only to meet Bob...
Oops...spoilers.*impersonating River Song*

Date: 2018-04-22 10:10 am (UTC)Okay, Rose was cautious about Bob at first since the creepy taxi guy but leaves her then boyfriend for Bob. Later on finding out his sexuality, chaos ensures, they break up over something stupid temporarily and later on her mothers boyfriend makes a pass at her. That's the gist of it.
Sorry, but you sound like your talking about an ex-boyfriend when you say: I'm through with RTD.:D
Me and my dramatic imagination.:)

Date: 2018-04-23 10:07 am (UTC)Doesn't sound like much really happens if it can be boiled down to that synopsis. I definitely haven't missed anything.

Date: 2018-04-23 10:16 am (UTC)I left out some bits. Bobs mum is played by Penelope Wilton who you know best as Harriet Jones. Who defends her sons actions by saying that he is attracted to men but also one woman.
I'm not really sure people got RTD's vision.*doubting it myself*

Date: 2018-04-24 10:39 am (UTC)I liked Harriet Jones

Date: 2018-04-24 10:46 am (UTC)Fair enough.
Me too! Penelope acted with the same kind of enthusiasm as Harriet Smith so not missing out on much.
Also Jessica Stevenson, (Bobs friend) is in it too. You know her as Verity Newman on Doctor Who.

Date: 2018-04-27 06:58 am (UTC)Assumptions, assumptions...
Who knows?:)
It ain't too bad if it is true.

Date: 2018-04-29 09:51 am (UTC)RTD brings out the worst in me.

Date: 2018-04-29 10:29 am (UTC)It's good to be passionate about things but he ain't worth too much of your energy honey.:)
I just look back at some of the things he did and think: why? why?!
Oops...I'm doing it too.:(
