Summary: There’s still two more years to go until Carol in eighteen, and she says she’s not dating anyone until then, but Bikky is willing to wait.

A/N: Double drabble.

Waiting was hard; growing up took such a long time, but Carol had said she wasn’t going out with anyone until she was eighteen and that was still two years away. Bikky had already waited three years; he figured he could get through two more. Carol was worth it.

He’d put in his bid for her when he’d been ten and she’d been a lofty thirteen. She’d told him she was taking reservations, and he’d got in first so she couldn’t go out with anyone else before him, not like seriously dating. She was his and was always going to be his because once they were dating he’d see to it she’d never want to go out with anyone else. He’d be the best boyfriend ever!

Now he was the one who was thirteen and she was sixteen, and there were still so many days to go before he could officially call her his girlfriend. Other boys had asked her out, and she’d had that one casual date with Bobby to make Bikky jealous, but that was okay because then Bikky had kissed her… He lay in bed, smiling; she was still his.

Two more years. Yeah, he could wait.
