“Hmpf,” Ianto huffed as he examined Jack’s coat. How the hell did he always manage to get it so dirty? It had only just been dry-cleaned less than a week ago, yet already the hem looked like it had been dragged through the mud, there were bits of leaves and grass all over the back, and the end of one sleeve appeared to have been dipped in blood and then chewed. He glared at Jack, who stood shuffling his feet.


“Ah, about that… There was this Weevil in the park…”


Ianto shook his head. “I don’t even want to know!”

No, it isn't, but this time the damage was unavoidable. it will heal. There are risks involved in its line of work.

Poor Coat, it must be so thankful for Ianto, who I think has become quite fond of it, though exasperated with Jack at times

Ianto loves Coat, and always cares for it. It's not always Jack's fault Coat gets in a mess, it's the nature of the job.

Ianto shouldn't really complain, at least Coat can be salvaged. Most of the rest of their clothes simply end up in the bin.

They all really need self-healing clothes. Coat can heal itself, but still needs help with getting clean.
