Thank you! I hit a snag when I'd finished the stiching and realised I didn't have a card blank big enough to fit all three pieces on, so I just folded an A4 piece of card in half and managed to squeeze them in, lol!
Wow thats amazing! And you've obviously put a lot of time and effort and love into it. I hope he says more than "huh"! Do you have any special valentines plans?
Yeah, had him for over 30 years. He's the only reason I have - and can use - a computer. He got me started, way back when 'computer' meant ZX Spectrum, lol!
Nah, aside from cards we don't really do Valentine's day, it's too close to my birthday, and I won't see him until the weekend anyway. Not being able to go out doesn't help either. *shrugs* We've got used to that over the last 30 odd years. We're a weird couple, need our own space.
Thank you, I was pleased with the way it turned out in the end after misjudging the size of the stitched pieces and having to make a card big enough to fit them all on!
Thank you. I changed some of the colours so I could have a colour theme that went through all three - the patchwork one was originally pink and blue, but I wanted something bolder and with some of the yellow and purple from what I call the chocolate box heart.
Thank you! I enjoyed stitching these, but I changed some of the colours to make a colour scheme that ran through all three motifs. I wanted it to be bold and bright.
Life's been chaotic around here, I don't seem to have time for everything that needs doing.
Glad you like the card, I was pleased with the result. I was worried I wouldn't get it done in time. ou know me, always manage to leave things until the last minute! *rolls eyes* I wish I was more organised, lol!
Looking forward to hearing from you!
*hugs to everyone* Haven't Alex and Michael recently had birthdays?
Thank you! I changed the colours from the pattern a bit so I could use some of the same colours in each one and also because I wanted a bright red instead of pink. It turned out nice and bright.
