Summary: A bit of belated Halloween fun.

Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.

A/N: Having endless problems with this prompt, so I’ve resorted to daftness!

 

 

 

Cardiff Council had organised a Halloween party for local children on the Plass, with a Trick or Treating route around local businesses.

 

The most popular stop was the Mermaid Quay Tourist Office, where long queues had quickly formed.

 

Groups of children were led into the spooky, cobwebby interior where a sheet-clad ‘ghost’ popped up suddenly from behind the counter, humming eerily and making them scream with delighted fear. Then a headless, handless man dropped candy into their bags before a handsome vampire ushered them out.

 

At the end of the evening, Ianto removed Nosy’s sheet.

 

“That was fun!”

 

Nosy agreed.

Awww, I love this! Nosy in a sheet would make an odd-looking ghost indeed! The perfect combination of scary (because of its shape) and silly (because of the sheet) for a children's event.

And the other guys are icing on the cake! :)

Someone on ff.net wanted George the Suit at Halloween and Nosy didn't want to be left out - I figured with a big enough sheet and the counter to hide behind, it would be a better 'ghost' than ET!

Yay for Nosy! I bet it makes an awesome ghost, if just for the humming and weirdness of it, even under a sheet.

I do, however, want to know how someone without hands would be able to drop candy into anyone's bags. LOL!

The Nosy ghost is very impressive, all wiggly and squiggly, swaying spookily!

I was hoping someone would guess the identity of Mr headless & handless, but no one has - If George the Suit from 'Ianto's Little Helper' can carry coffee mugs without hands, giving out sweets would be no problem, lol!

I'm still trying to wrestle the other potential drabble into something with more life - so far with no success. I have a rather odd one to post tomorrow though. I might use the other drabble as a bit of a scene in the next Nosy fic while Ianto still has a sprained knee, just re-write it to fit. I just like the idea of Nosy being long enough to form a queue all by itself, lol!
