Summary: It’s not Torchwood’s usual order…

Ianto had been to the bakery to pick up afternoon snacks. Really the team should be eating more healthily, but with all the running around they didn’t seem to be putting on weight. Besides, they all knew they were more likely to die from something alien related rather than high cholesterol anyway.

“Ooh, cakes!” Gwen bounced over then frowned. “Where are the cupcakes?”

“We always have cupcakes,” Ianto replied. “I felt like a change, and these looked really good.”

Jack grinned, selecting a cake. “You know what they say, ‘A little fondant fancy does you good’!”

Ianto didn’t correct him.

No matter how it's said, I agree with both meanings. I love chocolate fondant Yummy!
There was a singer who used to say something along those lines: "Die thin or die fat, the difference is for the carriers." He died relatively young and rather fat, but at least, he enjoyed life until the end.

Everything in moderation, then you can stay healthy but still enjoy life. Chocolate is good,, but I like the pink and yellow fondant fancies best =)

Gwen always wants what she can't have, she should be satisfied with what Ianto bought. Everyone needs a change sometimes.

I'm sure Ianto chose delicious cakes!
and to hell with the calories: tomorrow they will run after the aliens or other dangerous creatures, solve mysteries, in short, will spend !!

In my case, I'm not attracted to cakes, even small, they are certainly beautiful but that does not tempt me, I always fear it is cloying, too sweet; except for a small tart with fresh raspberry on a light cream reads like a corner surpermarché cloud !!

Cakes can be too sweet sometimes. I like blackcurrant pies =)
