My mum had to look after her younger siblings when she was growing up. She has an older sister but she lived with the grandparents at that time so her upbringing was different.
I've never heard of a colour licence for a TV. We had five prime time channels. Which are now no longer free to air but part of the cable channels.
We use to have a gas stove and had to be careful when lighting the grill because the flames would shoot out.
