He's still younger than Ryo, even though he tends to take the lead in their relationship because he's more confident in his sexuality. I guess he's still afraid that he'll lose Ryo, or that he isn't good enough. He's lost a lot of people in his life. But so has Ryo. They need to talk about their insecurities, then they'll find they have nothing to worry about.
