Ianto didn’t often have hangovers these days, mostly because now he was immortal he could handle his liquor better. The night before though, he must have overindulged on a grand scale judging by the pounding in his head.

It was only just dawn, so he rolled over without opening his eyes. Maybe he could sleep it off.

Ten minutes later he groaned. He loved his home most of the time, but one thing he could do without was the incessant twitter of the birds that woke at first light. He wished he had a mute button to shut them up.

I could imagine Ianto doing his classic "eye roll" move. Poor thing.

Birds were meant to be nature's "alarm clock". Too bad you can't press a temporary mute button.:)

I know what you mean. Sometimes it feel's good seeing the "world" early in the morning. But if you want a sleep in, it's a tad annoying when the bird's are going:
"Wake up human's!".:D

I use that one a lot. Ianto's eyes and eyebrows are very expressive. Not surprising considering the people he works with, he's had a lot of practice!

Poor Ianto! as a mute button is not an option, some coffee, a nice relaxing bath or a lovely round of lovemaking may be possible!
He must be really tired if he didn't have a back-up plan LOL

I'm sure he was. Looks like it'll be coffee and a reviving shower, he's worried he might fall asleep in the bath and drown. Of course, that would get rid of his hangover...

Poor Ianto. I don't get any birds singing too loudly outside my bedroom window, but if I did, I have hearing protector thing that I could use to silence it a bit XD *hugs Ianto*
