Sounds like a lot on your mind and a mind running fifteen directions at once. What about writing everything down in a notebook? I know how scarce time is for you, but this could count as a type of therapy, and writing things down is a good way to be able to look at them from a different viewpoint.

Meditation takes a lot of time to learn. I can clear my mind easily enough, and stay still, but the moment I try to focus on anything to think about it in detail, there it goes again.

This is my favorite sound to listen to when I want to think about anything serious. Or if I want to just not think about anything at all. One reason I don't do well writing at the beach. Just make sure you don't drink a lot of water when you're listening or you'll be running off to the bathroom.
