Summary: The trial run was a success; Ianto approves their new playtime accessories.

Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.

Completely spent, Ianto collapsed on top of Jack, panting, heart pounding. He could feel the rapid beat of Jack’s heart echoing his own; seemed they were both in a similar state.

Reaching up with the last of his energy, Ianto tugged one end of the silken fabric binding Jack’s wrists, feeling the knots come undone easily with just a gentle pull. Wrists freed, Jack wrapped his arms around his lover.

“See? They’re much better than your ties,” Jack mumbled against Ianto’s hair.

“Know-it-all. We’re definitely doing that again, but next time, you’re tying me up.”

“I can live with that.”

Three drabbles and still not enough ;) Sometimes I wished you would write longer stories. Going into all the details. Especially if it's Jack being tied up ;)

Damn, I used to have an icon with Jack in cuffs from the year that never was, but I run out of icon space and deleted it.

I write longer stories, I just don't write smut! And these were for the drabble community prompt, I kind of got away with writing a 600 word story across 6 drabbles, but that's about as good (and as saucy) as I've gotten with Torchwood. I'm taking baby steps in the general direction of mild smuttiness, but I'm old and I learn slow.

Glad you enjoyed it! The prompt was made to measure to follow on from one of the drabbles for the previous prompt - I had no choice, I had to take the bondage route, mild though it was ;)

I don't write smut either (I know what I can and what I can't do), that's why I depend on others to write it so I can read it ;)

Never mind. Do only what you feel comfortable with.

When I wrote the Naked Roulette story, that certainly was an exception, but I had this image in my mind and needed it to go out, otherwise it would have burned me ;) So I HAD to write it.

Such things are rare though.

I've written a bit of smut for FAKE, but I can't seem to go there with Torchwood. I can write the before and the after, but not the bit where everything happens o_O

Maybe one day I will feel comfortable writing it, maybe not. For now, I just write what the plot bunnies demand =)

That fabric really was suited to their purposes! (Torchwood being Torchwood, part of me kept expecting something to go awry a the last minute, even though you said it had been thoroughly vetted. LOL.)

Thank you! I'm quite proud of myself for writing this, it's probably the closest to smut I've come with Torchwood. (Although I've gone quite a bit further writing FAKE - somehow it's easier to do with characters who are drawings on a page rather than real people playing roles).

I've been cruel enough to Ianto recently, so I thought I'd let him have a happier time. (I'm being mean to Owen instead).

That's interesting that you're much more daring with your FAKE characters! Some characters are easier to get explicit with than others, I guess. I wrote smut before TW but never anything as explicit, or as much of it, before I discovered Jack/Ianto. They really bring it out in me! In the Sherlock fandom, however, my efforts have been far more gen.

Ianto definitely deserves all the good times he can get. Owen, on the other hand, could use a little abuse--he dishes it out often enough. ;)

It is strange how different characters bring out different things in our writing. Not that I've tons of smut even for FAKE, just one I haven't posted yet, and one slightly less explicit one I did for fan_flashworks a few challenges ago. Maybe one day I'll write more. My torchwood fics have mostly been on the funny or fluffy side.

Owen will be getting what he deserves in today's drabble, when I post it.
