I always forget that you're way ahead of me when it comes to timezones (and a just over a year ahead in Birthdays, lol!)
Sorry to hear it wasn't such a special day for you, though I suspect it'll be the same for me, I'll still be doing the same old chores and stuff. I hope you at least had nice weather.
I do mainly night shifts, so I sort of have live the UK times but a day a head. Our weather has been strange, usually Feb is the hottest month with high 30's for most days, and a few over 40. This year mid to high 20's only a couple over 30 and rain, overcast, and I've even driven home through some fog! So unlike summer - but then there are still 18 days to swelter in. (hope your birthday is a bit more special)
Sounds like what passes for summer over here these days. we get so much rain, chilly temperatures and grey overcast skies that when we get a hot day it takes everyone by surprise. August used to be the hottest month, now the best weather is usually in May.
We shall see. I'm not expecting much - my mother is in her eighties and never goes out, I'm her primary carer, so I'm not expecting anything there. Might get a few cards, and possibly something from my sister who's coming over tomorrow in honour of mum's birthday last week. Don't know if anyone will get me a cake, but I can hope!
