Asparagus is not really all that common in this country, I'm not sure I've ever even seen it for sale in the shops I use. Maybe once or twice... Maybe it doesn't grow well over here or something. It's only in the last few years that blueberries have been readily available, I sometimes think Britain is a bit backward when it comes to fruit and veg, lol!
I do miss cheese, and also bread which I've had to stop eating due to developing an intolerance for most cereals. Really annoying and sad. I occasionally have cheesecake, that only gives me a mild headache.
