Summary: Owen is not too pleased to get called to the Hub in the early hours, but it really is an emergency. Honest!

A/N: My twelfth drabble for this challenge!

“Thought you said there was an emergency,” Owen grumbled, entering the Hub at three in the morning to find both Jack and Ianto clearly unharmed, if a bit frazzled.

“There was. Is, I mean,” Jack muttered.

“You both look fine to me.”

“We are. It’s Myf who’s the problem,” Ianto explained sheepishly. “I was throwing pieces of chocolate for her and she missed one. She went after it, but she got a bit… stuck.”

Ianto gestured to where Myfanwy lay spread-eagled on the catwalk, her beak jammed in the grating.

“We need another pair of hands to pull her out.”

I think she's mostly indignant and embarrassed for getting stuck. The three of them will free her and she'll get extra chocolate.

Some of us just never grow out of our love for prehistoric creatures. I've been fascinated since I was a small child and I stil am 50 years on.

Myf will be fine, she's not actually hurt, just embarrassed. Once they pull her out everything will be fine. I wonder if she can blush, lol!

She was a silly girl, trying to get the chocolate herself, Ianto would have retrieved it for her. Now she's feeling very embarrassed.

She's feeling very foolish. She's usually so careful, but her greed for chocolate overcame her caution this time and now Owen will make fun of her, poor girl.

She's rather cross with herself for doing something so silly. She's fine, just very embarrassed, lol!

That's exactly how she feels, embarrassed and foolish for letting greed get in the way of common sensde. She knows Ianto would have reterieved the chocolate for her, she just didn't want to wait and now look at her. Stuck in a silly position, waiting for the humans to grease her beak and help her get unstuck, lol!

Ianto is always careful, but this time Myf let her greed overcome her common sense. She's ashamed. In future she'll wait for Jack or Ianto to retrieve any bits of chocolate she misses.

(They will give her a bit extra though, as a reward for keeping still while they freed her.)
