Being British, we can't celebrate Midsummer in December! Well, we could, but it would be a bit insane, lol!

Hope your Midsummer celebration has been full of joy, we're quietly celebrating a sort-of Christmas and enjoying it though it's nearly over now. It's been nice and quite relaxed, with good food and Doctor who. What more could I want? *hugs*

*hugs* I'm so glad we met! Before internet, I was lonely, now I feel surrounded by friends and it is the greatest blessing there is. I look forward to many years of sharing our joys and woes, may 2012 be a brilliant year for you!

Thank you! :D Oh we all have to get so mushy. I'm glad though. I don't really have any outside friends right now. Just my husband and son and well my Mom and Dad and so on. I had a best friend in high school who I could still contact. We talked once on Facebook. I don't know why things changed after I married. Maybe because my husband became my new best friend. I guess he still is, but it is not like it used to be. I need a girl friend. lol!

I'm so glad to have you all.

I hope we stay friends a long time too. I can't help but like a girl who loves Ianto Jones and Torchwood. Oh, and Capt. Jack! They will always be together as far as I'm concerned.

In my mind, Ianto is immortal and will be with Jack forever! I love Immortal Ianto stories, can never have too many. Those boys are just meant to be, no matter what the show's writers may think. Thankfully, there are plenty of fanfic writers making sure they get the life they deserve. Eventually I'll probably make Ianto immortal in my stories - if I can ever get back to writing them =)

Yes thank goodness for fanfic, but I may never forgive RTD, I just don't get him. Plenty of long running shows that don't kill off nearly "everyone" every season to keep it fresh. In fact it is growing old with me to "know" nearly everyone will die every season. I can't care about anyone too much because likely they will die....no, it is "always" the ones I liked most....I am starting to rant...I better stop. lol!

I literally couldn't watch TV at all for 3 months after CoE - I was terrified I'd like a character only for them to be killed horribly and needlessly. I finally surfaced enough to watch Doctor Who and some nature documentaries, but I still haven't gone back to my old TV watching habits. Doctor who is the only thing I watch religiously (I trust Moffatt), everything else I don't care if I miss an episode or half a season. I didn't bother watching Miracle Day at all, because everything that had drawn me to Torchwood in the first place was gone - except Jack, and to me he'd been damaged too much. I preferred to remember Jack as he was before he lost everything that mattered to him. I just couldn't take seeing either depressed Jack, or a Jack who had bounced back as if nothing had happened. It was just too cruel.
