Summary: Xander never meant to hurt Willow, he just can’t resist Cordy.

A/N: Double drabble.
Okay, so they were supposed to be doing research, helping Giles find out whatever they could about this Judge dude Spike and his vamps were trying to resurrect, but they’d been at it for hours. Xander needed a break, just for a few minutes, and Cordelia was doing that cute thing with her nose…
Maybe they should’ve kept their make-out sessions to the janitor’s closet. The library was a BAD place, too public, too full of their friends, or his friends, people who mostly tolerated Cordy. Whatever, giving in to temptation had been a mistake. Not the kissing so much as the getting caught, by Willow no less.
He never would’ve hurt Will intentionally. She’d been his best friend since they were little kids, and yeah, he sort of knew she had a crush on him, had an inkling about it at least… But seeing the shock on her face, the betrayal in her eyes before she fled, Xander felt like the lowest of the low. He forgot all about Cordy in the need to catch up to Willow, to try and explain something he couldn’t even explain to himself.
He didn’t know if he could ever make this right.
