Summary: Alien artefacts sometimes behave in unexpected ways.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.
After a long search of the abandoned factory, the team finally managed to track down the latest Rift arrival, not on the floor or behind a piece of rusting machinery but floating up near the ceiling.
“I thought you said it was metallic!” Owen threw Tosh an accusing look.
“It is.” Tosh aimed her scanner upwards. “According to all my readings, it’s a metallic element, just not one that’s found on earth.”
Standing beside his friend, Ianto stared upwards. “I can see why. The only reason that’s technically still on earth is because the ceiling kept it from floating away.”
