Summary: Ianto muses on being the team’s coffee provider.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.
Sometimes, it seemed to Ianto that his sole purpose in life was to keep the entire team functioning by the judicious application of caffeine, supplied in an easily absorbed liquid format.
Then he’d roll his eyes, mutter something about turning into a pretentious prat and get on with making the coffee. Still, the fact remained that he spent an inordinate amount of time doing just that.
It wasn’t that the others couldn’t make coffee; more that their coffee wasn’t drinkable, which meant the only sensible option was to make his own, and make theirs too.
He shrugged.
It was self-defence.

He's better off making it himself. At least he knows it will be nice. And it's good to have something to bribe/threaten the others with!

I was actually in the shop in London from the people who made the prototype figure and asked if I could see it, but they didn't know where it had ended up. My friend said it was on display there. But since he then died, it never got made.

Thank you for sharing and I have to look around your action figures are beautiful. I wish I had the painting talent but sadly I do not.

Date: 2014-03-16 03:35 pm (UTC)They do action figures in waves. They can't just put Jack, Ianto, Tosh, Gwen and Owen all in the first wave. Nobody then would buy the set with the Weevil and the Blowfish and the Cyberwoman. So they only put one or two of the ones you want, and you have to buy the others as well. Tosh was lucky that she was in the second wave. Owen was supposed to be in the third wave but the whole wave then did not get made. I wonder which else figures we are missing. I could need a Rhys for example.
