Summary: Another meteor has fallen on Cardiff.

A/N: Double drabble.
Jack tapped on the object. “I think it’s hollow.”
“Possibly, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s empty. It could be filed with something dangerous, a toxic gas, or liquid, even some kind of viral pathogen.”
“There might be nothing in it at all.”
“It’s possible, but do you really want to risk it? Remember what happened the last time a meteor landed around here?”
“How could I forget? Gwen let loose a sex-gas alien that took over that girl’s body and killed a bunch of guys. This one’s a lot smaller though, it’s probably not the same kind of thing.”
“Hopefully not, but it should be handled with caution and Tosh should do some detailed scans before we decide what to do with it. Let’s just get it secured in a containment box and take it back to the Hub.”
“I suppose that would be best.” Jack picked up the knobbly, football-sized meteor and was about to put it in the box Ianto was holding when with a small hiss of escaping air, a hatch opened in the top and a tiny head poked out.
“Greetings, earthlings!” a squeaky voice said. “I come in peace.”
That made a pleasant change.
