A/N: Double drabble.




Ianto shook his head in exasperation. “All I can say is, it’s a good thing there’s always a few specimen jars and some bottled water in the boot, otherwise we’d have a serious problem.” He carefully scooped the muddy fish from the shallow puddle, thankful for the recent heavy rains, and dropped it in the largest specimen jar, now three-quarters filled with water. “There you go. I’ll have to put the lid on for the drive back to the hub, but you’re a fish, you should be fine.”


Setting the jar on the floor of the SUV, Ianto collected the device responsible for the unfortunate incident, using tongs to put it in a containment unit, which he placed in the boot.


“Right, let’s get you back to the Hub so that Tosh can work her magic.”


Needlessly to say, his companion made no reply.


“What’s in the jar?” Jack asked, intercepting his lover as he entered the Hub.


Ianto sighed. “Gwen. She did your trick, accidentally stepped on the thing we were looking for, and…” he shrugged. “Good thing there was a puddle nearby.”


Jack took the jar. “Aw, she’s cute!”


“I’ll let you tell Rhys his wife’s a goldfish.”

Snicker. At least as a fish she can't keep whinging. Tosh will put her to rights, though Rhys will certainly not be amused

Tosh will have to turn Gwen back in a bathtub, so I'm sure there'll be plenty of complaining then, lol!
