A/N: Double drabble.
Ryo always babbled when he was uncomfortable or flustered. It was a bad habit, but one he’d never been able to break, like if he kept talking nobody would notice he was blushing, or that he didn’t know what to do. The truth of the matter was that babbling just made things worse, drawing even more unwanted attention, because then everyone could see how awkward and uncomfortable he felt.
He knew he was doing it again, and there was a smirk on Dee’s face as he moved in closer, finally silencing his partner with his lips. Ryo cursed inside his head as he felt his traitorous body melt into Dee’s arms. Damn him! This was just what Ryo had been trying to avoid. How was he supposed to keep his partner at arm’s length when Dee refused to play fair?
It wasn’t that he didn’t like Dee, because he did, but Dee always wanted more than Ryo was ready or willing to give. Ryo didn’t know how he was supposed to react to his hornball partner smooching and groping him without permission, and yet every time it happened he found himself helpless to resist.
Another habit he needed to break.
