A/N: Double drabble.
Sometimes the best and strongest relationships start out by being nothing more than good friends. When you get to know someone, really knows them, their likes and dislikes, their hopes and fears, the things that make them laugh or cry, when you learn to trust them with everything you hold dear, and know their trust in you is just as unshakeable, then you have a foundation strong enough to withstand anything life might throw at you.
Ryo knows that to the depths of his soul. He and Dee started out that way, as work partners and friends, then over time they became more, finding in each other the perfect person to build a life with.
As he watches Bikky and Carol, Ryo can see that they’ve discovered the same thing. From childhood friends they’ve grown together into two young people deeply in love with each other. Temptations have come and gone, but they’ve never wavered in their devotion to each other, not in any way that makes a difference to the way they feel. They belong together, and they both know it. They have no doubts
Love without friendship is only half a relationship.
Love with friendship will last forever.
