Summary: Ryo stops by the Commissioner’s office with some unexpected news.

A/N: Double drabble.
Commissioner Berkeley Rose hadn’t been expecting anyone to drop by, but he couldn’t say he was disappointed when, looking up from his newspaper at the sound of a knock on his office door, he found Ryo in the doorway.
“Excuse me, Sir, do you have a minute?”
Even now, knowing that the handsome young detective would never be more that a colleague and perhaps a friend, Berkeley was always willing to make time for him.
“Of course, Ryo! What can I do for you?”
What Ryo had to say was the last thing Berkeley would have imagined.
“Diana is planning to get married.”
It hit the Commissioner like a bolt from the blue: FBI Agent Diana Spacey, Berkeley’s long-time friend, who was also a close friend of Ryo’s. Beautiful, feisty Diana…
“Are you certain?”
“She told me herself.”
Berkeley didn’t know quite how to feel.
“I see.”
“What are you going to do about it, Sir?”
“Why should I do anything? It’s up to her.”
“No, Sir, it’s up to you. If you let this chance go by, you’ll regret it.”
Dammit, Ryo was right; if Berkeley did nothing he’d lose Diana forever. Seemed he had some thinking to do.
