Summary: A lot of things have changed for the better since Ryo moved in with Dee.

There’d been a time, back when Dee had been young, single, and fancy free, when his favourite part of the working day had been the end of shift, he and his friends heading out as soon as the hands of the clock hit the magic number, and making for the nearest bar to wind down with a few beers, maybe catch the eye of someone looking to make a new friend.


How times had changed!


The best part of the working day was still the end of shift, and anyone who said otherwise was a barefaced liar. Once in a while there’d even be a round or two at the bar, although that happened a lot less than it used to. Everyone had somewhere else to be, someone to head home to, or in Dee’s case, someone to head home with. Now that Ryo had moved in with him home was also Dee’s favourite place to be.


“Home, coffee, dinner, sex,” he said, putting his car in gear and winking at his lover. “Not necessarily in that order.”


Ryo laughed. “You’re so predictable.”


“Hey, I can’t think of a better way to wind down after a hard day. Can you?”
