Summary: Dee and Ryo have been selected for a task Dee would have preferred someone else got.

A/N: Double drabble.
“What’s got you looking so gloomy?” Ryo asked his partner. Despite the bright, sunny weather, Dee was slumped at his desk looking like a wet weekend.
“The stupid old badger’s volunteered us to babysit a detective from London, here on an exchange to see how the NYPD does things!” Dee threw a tragic look at his lover. “We’re supposed to let this guy ride long with us on all our cases! Why does it haveta be us? Can’t someone else do it?”
If he’d been expecting sympathy from his lover, Dee was destined to be disappointed.
“That’s quite an honour, Dee! The first exchange between Scotland Yard and the NYPD! Think about it; out of all the detectives in the city, we’ve been picked!”
“But we’re gonna haveta watch everything we do or say! No touchin’, or sneakin’ kisses when no one else is around. We’ll haveta share our office!”
“So you’re sore about not getting to make out at work even though you know I won’t do that anyway?” They’d been together for three months and Ryo was very firm about not getting intimate at work.
“I was still hopin’ I could change your mind about that,” Dee muttered.
