Sometimes people are forced out. Which is a shame because it obviously disrupts their personal/professional lives. The reason I moved house last time was because the owners wanted to make it private. At least they gave my family options on where to live.
In Australia's Wonderland's case it was management problems with how they spent the money. I know a lot of the general public were disappointed that it closed down. Not to mention all the staff who worked there had to be let go. I can only go with what I've heard.*shrugs*
