Ianto was in the zone, working steadily through the huge pile of filing that had accumulated recently. Listening to music on the tiny MP3 player he kept down in the archives for this very purpose he’d tuned out all possibility of distraction. He didn’t even have to worry about Jack sneaking up behind him, wanting his attention because his lover was out checking up on some of Cardiff’s resident aliens.


So when a hand suddenly grabbed him by the arm, Ianto yelped and leapt clear off the ground, scattering papers everywhere.


“Owen! What the hell?”


Owen smirked. “Revenge is sweet.”
