Title: The Crash
Author: [livejournal.com profile] badly_knitted
Characters: Eleventh Doctor.
Rating: G
Written For: Challenge 303: Crash at [livejournal.com profile] dw100.
Spoilers: The Eleventh Hour.
Summary: The TARDIS has come down to earth with a bit of a bump.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.

The way the Doctor flew his TARDIS it was a miracle he didn’t crash more often. This occasion wasn’t his fault, or it was; he couldn’t be sure of anything right now. It seemed a good idea to get out before something worse than crashing happened though, if there was anything worse. Slinging his grappling hook to catch the edge of the doorway he clambered up the rope.

Crashing was bad, he didn’t want to do that again, but he didn’t know why he’d crashed anyway.

Early days. Steering must be a bit off. Regeneration could be a rough ride.

The End

Sorry. Getting ahead of myself. Just glad that he didn't get hurt. It couldn't have been easy for the TARDIS.

It seems to happen when the Doctor doesn't have a companion around. At least in the new series.*analyses*

Maybe the Doctor should wear a parachute before regenerating.

Eleven's regeneration to Twelve was very "Blink and you'll miss it". Although some said Eleven was holding it off too.*shrugs*

"Wrap himself in bubble wrap and tie himself to the console..."

I love that image! :D

Or maybe the Doctor needs to be in a contained room aka "Panic Room".

The nasty side-affects of a regeneration was different for Doctor. Eleven goes back to his youthful looks right before he changes to Twelve, who then has an identity crisis for most of season 8.

So much for autopilot.*shrugs*

It's like dying & being resurrected! Sci-fi shows eh?

Yeah, she does need time to redecorate as well.

How about that Buffy episode where she was in that mental institute? Is that what you call it?

Anyways it was a choice between a hardship threw destiny or a safe domestic lifestyle. Maybe I'm getting off track...

It almost looked real. I hated that originally her father was a dead beat dad. Like you can't have the best of both worlds?! At least Buffy tried to maintain a family with her friends and Giles. Not just her mother and Dawn. Slayers usually have a lonely life. She went against that!

Charmed also did the episode: "Drain Brain" where Piper's neurosis was manipulated by the Source which sent her flying into a vivid illusion where she's a patient in a mental hospital. This is after wishing for an ordinary life.

Yes, we could really use someone even without superpowers. We could start with street smarts.

Sometimes I wish I had a superpower.

Yes, the Buffy one tugged at the heart strings! :(

Holly Marie Combs did some good acting with the crying. I sometimes got annoyed at Piper for her sarcasm. I'm abit sarcastic so maybe I need to look how others see me.*startled*

Teleportation is like orbing, Paige's power. I like that concept!:)

Paige was half-breed so got the best combo.:)

As for Piper, she used humor as a coping mechanism or when things were out of her control. Leo kept her calm during those times.

Phoebe had the most challenging power. Learned self defense to compensate for a less active ability.

Too bad the levitation one was taken away from her due to budget cuts. It's expensive doing all those special effects.:(

I was surprised about that fact considering how long Charmed lasted. That was why Brian Krause was temporary written out. Leo was "Frozen". Just another way of keeping him away from Piper. I didn't like Dan. He was too cliché.

Phoebe started the trend. I notice that Paige and Piper resorted to self-defence on the rare occasion.*insert stunt body double*
