I don't mind washing up, especially on a cold day, and as long as there's not a lot. Because of all my myriad food intolerances I prefer simple things anyway.
I started knitting when my sister was expecting her first. Picked the most difficult pattern there was in the shop, I think, but I persevered and figured it out. Never looked back. Made tons of things for my nephew and niece, and for my mum and myself. =)
