It's LJ's anniversary, not mine. I've only been here a little over 10 years, since sometime in late 2008. Which is still a long time, I guess!

I hovered for a few months before staring a journal, but back then I had no intention of writing fic, I came here to read... How times have changed!

Me too! I came here to read, then I felt left out of the comments section. So joined in and the rest is history.:)

It helps that dm12 proofreads my small fic stories. Otherwise I would have quit my writing.*tiny grammar issues*

It's good to be able to comment; that's how we get to meet people!

It's also good to have a beta you trust. I have a few I can turn to id I need to get fics betaed - some challenges insist on it.

Of course! I didn't realise how much fun it was going to be.:D

I know sometimes I get so excited to send a fic and don't proofread myself enough. Our email routine can vary but it works for both of us.:)

I edit my fics over and over before they get posted to my journals. I write and post to challenges fairly quickly, then leave the fic for a while so I ca look at it with fresh eyes. what the challenge communities get is basically my first draft.

It's always good to have someone you work well with =)
