FAKE Drabble: Christmas Cake

Written For: Challenge 37: Fruitcake at drabblesoup.
Spoilers/Setting: Early in the manga.
Summary: Bikky isn’t a fan of fruitcake.
Disclaimer: I don’t own FAKE, or the characters. They belong to the wonderful Sanami Matoh.
It sat there lumpily in the middle of the table, the traditional Christmas fruitcake, a solid block of fruit and nuts and peel, covered in frosting. Bikky stared at it dubiously; it looked pretty on the outside, but he’d seen these things before and knew them to be heavy and chewy and full of bits.
There were plenty of other things to eat though, and the snow scene on the cake was decorative… maybe it could just be left as it was.
No such luck.
“Who wants Christmas cake?” Ryo asked, knife in hand.
“Um, no thanks, Ryo. Maybe later.”
