YAY! I haz a lovely Ianto picture (well, five really) in a mount that spells out his name! It was just delivered and it's brilliant! It's amazing what you can find on ebay when you're looking for something else...



Now I just have to decide where I want him! *bounces happily*

Sadly, I have shelves right above my bed. I want to keep him out of the sunlight too so that he doesn't fade, so I'll have to be careful. I get a lot of sun in my room, and I don't have much wall space that isn't taken up with booksheles. It's going to be tricky finding anywhere.

Well, I don't buy things that need ironing, so I don't iron much these days. Oddly, it's a chore I've never minded...

I'm sure I'll find somewhere for him, just have to make sure it's not in sunlight so he doesn't fade.

It's a tough one, that's for sure. I definitely didn't want to write Gwen! I don't mind M-Preg, but it's been done so much I didn't think I could do anything new. I've managed to write a couple though - the first is up and is Ianto/Lisa, so it's sad. I have something more humorous for Saturday.

Maybe a baby alien falls through the Rift and they don't know what to call it. Or something about Jack's past with his parents trying to decide what to call their new son. Or about Jack and Lucia naming Melissa (who later became Alice) Or even Jack asking Alice what she's going to call her son, his grandson.

I've written all I'm going to write for this one, so help yourself if any of those ideas take your fancy.

Isn't it? I've never seen anything like it, I was just looking at the listings under Torchwood because I wanted a keyring (which I got) and I spotted this! I love it! It's not a great photo unfortunately, it looks better in real life!

No, for some reason I've never thought to search TARDIS - bet there are some weird and wonderful things on offer as well as the more usual ones!

I've been told this one was bought at one of the Hub Conventions. It's the only one I've ever seen, but maybe there are others out there. Keep looking and who knows, you might get lucky and find one when you least expect it. I was only looking for a Torchwood keyring, lol!

Oh you mean you bought it with the pictures already inside? I had assumed that there was a company doing picture frames with names, and Ianto is a common name after all, or is it?

So I thought you just bought the frame and put the pictures in yourself.

If it was bought at a convention, it might be done professionally and there might be more. I shall keep my eyes open!

Ianto is probably only a common name if you live in Wales - I'd never heard it until I watched Torchwood, even though I had several holidays in Wales when I was in my teens.

I was thrilled to bits when I won it. I stumbled across it completely by chance, so that must have been my lucky day.

My mother was completely bemused by it though, bless. She's clueless about Torchwood despite me rambling on about it all the time.

Lol! My bed is jammed into an alcove made by the fitted wardobes mum built many years ago - there are shelves just above so no room for Ianto sadly. I'm sure I'll find him a good place though.

Wow! This is fantastic! I'm glad one of the pics have Jack in it. So glad people still love them. It feels like people just forgot about Jack and Ianto. Really nice. I know you will enjoy it. :)

tbh, unless you love doom and gloom and the whole 'no one can save us, even the heroes are helpless' vibe, you'd be better off ignoring CoE completely. There are a few small scenes that show the characters in a good light, but for the most part they're OOC, no doubt because Torchwood were crammed into a pre-existing script that RTD couldn't get made. It's that laziness that killed off a series that was just starting to hit its stride.

I'm thrilled to bits with it! I don't know why the owner was selling it, but I'm glad I was able to get it - plus she didn't live far from me so she delivered it by hand. I've promised to take good care of Ianto - and Jack!

Sounds like good advice. I would love to see Jack come back in Doctor Who, but unless they were able to, somehow, bring Ianto back, I don't think I would watch Torchwood if they ever did get it back on the air. The interactions between Jack and Ianto are pretty much the only reason I watch it.

There's still talk about Torchwood coming back for a fifth season, but I don't know what they're talking about - how can they come back for a fifth when there have ony been two real seasons of the show? Nothing since season 2 was actually written for Torchwood. CoE and Miracle Day were both independent scripts that no one would finance, made as Torchwood with minimal re-writing. I want the third season od Real Torchwood, not another non-Torchwood script with the Torchwood characters shoe-horned in. And anyway, all the good characters have either been killed or in Jack's case, ruined.

I don't see it happening, even with the talk about it, because there's no one left. Unless they have Gwen's kid grow up and become a new employee of Torchwood working with Jack. Don't see how it could happen, but that, at least, might be interesting.

I'm hoping there won't be any more, I prefer the ideas the fanfic writers come up with. they're far more imaginative and true to the characters.

It's not easy, there are days I feel like my brain is going to overload and story ideas are going to run away.
