Sunflowers are beautiful, I love them myself, they always make me smile so I can understand how Ryo feels about his. And Dee just wants to make Ryo smile again, he can see how sad he is without his flowers. It shows how head over heels Dee is for Ryo that he would search the city for sunflowers, even though they're not a couple yet.
