LOL! It does have peel in, most recipes say raisins, currants, sultanas, candied peel, apple, brown sugar, shredded suet, lemon juice, things like that. Mum HATES candied peel but loves mincemeat *shrugs* I like both.

Does it have to specifically be carp rather than any other fish? I've never tried carp, I don't think it's even sold over here. The potato salad sounds good!
