Oh, I agree, Roy was a poor excuse for a human being, but it was interesting trying to look at Jasmine through his eyes. He would excuse his behaviour by saying there was something seriously wrong with the girl, he was the sort of man to lay the blame for his abuse on the victim of it. I was glad the Fae killed him, he didn't deserve to live.

I like the idea that the Fae took the unwanted children, the ones who were suffering. But if that's so, why did they take so few? They must have had other criteria as well, otherwise more would be saved from their hellish lives.
