Never actually watched that. I preferred One Foot in the Grave if I had to watch a sitcom, or better, The Good Life from way back, especially the one where Marjorie gets drunk. I'm not really big on sitcoms anyway.

My favourite SF show, Babylon 5, did some truly great character based humour amid the drama, that's my preference, not something forced that requires canned laughter to tell people it's supppsed to be funny.
