It's funny because the Doctor Who Jack is actually nearly an inch shorter than his Ianto! Jack had a teddy bear because he was alone for so long. Ianto got one because he was used and abandoned, traumatised by travelling through the post wound in bubblewrap. Two of my other Iantos were second hand, so they have teddy bears too.
