Cool, I bet they do venture into the park. You're so lucky to see an otter in the wild! I've seen plenty of deer and foxes, but never an otter or a badger. Running into a coyote would not be fun, I'm glad we don't have those here.

That's sad. One of our stray tortoises laid eggs one very hot summer, but nothing came of them. The weather here really isn't warm enough. My sister has a vivarium so the tortoise is cosy and doesn't need to hibernate. He wanders around the kitchen floor when she's home.

Budgies are great companions. Two of mine were strays found in gardens. We had a lot of budgies over the years.
