Rating: G
Written For: Challenge 559: Label at [livejournal.com profile] tw100.
Spoilers: Nada.
Summary: Rhiannon is trying to categorise Jack and Ianto’s relationship.

A/N: Double drabble.

“So you’re gay now, are you?” Rhi asked. She and Ianto were sitting in her kitchen, drinking tea and munching on Jack’s homemade cookies, watching the man himself out in the backyard, kicking a ball around with the kids.

“Why would you think that?”

“Well, you’re living with your boyfriend. I just thought…”

“I’m not gay, and neither is Jack; we’ve both had girlfriends in the past. Why does what we are have to have a label? If Jack had been a woman, or an alien, I still would’ve fallen in love with him. It’s the person that counts with us, not the gender, or any physical attributes we may or may not have.”

“Bisexual then,” Rhi amended. “Is that better?”

Ianto laughed. “You’re still trying to fit us into a category. Jack and I are just Jack and I; we’re lovers, colleagues, and friends, but if he was suddenly transformed into a creature with tentacles, nothing would change, except we might have to re-think our choice of bed and I have some doubts on whether he’d be safe behind the wheel of a car. Then again, I wonder about that most days. We don’t need labels; we just are.”

The End

Having mentioned tentacles, I remembered that many years ago I wrote a K/S in which Spock had tentacles. Where can I find yours?

thank you. I enjoyed that. Much fun was had while the tentacles lasted Mine was a bit more serious.Kirk feared he would die if Spock had sex with him.
