Summary: Ianto agrees with Jack, up to a point.

“I don’t believe in labels,” Jack told Ianto one day. “People should be free to be who they are without the majority of society trying to fit them into neat little boxes. Not everyone is going to fit into the ‘approved’ categories.” The way he said the word ‘approved’ told Ianto exactly what Jack thought of THAT particular concept.
“I agree, at least when it comes to people. We’re all individuals and shouldn’t be expected to conform to what others think we should be, but some labels are useful.”
“Such as?”
Ianto smiled. “The ones with washing instructions on them.”
