Rainbows and Memories

It's four years today, almost to the minute, since my mum passed away, so I was feeling down, but then I saw this...






Mum sent me a beautiful rainbow to cheer me up! It's difficult to see, but it's a double rainbow. We always stopped whatever we were doing to look at rainbows whenever one appeared so this one really felt like a message from above =)

Mum and I always loved rainbows. If one of us saw one we'd shout to the other to come see it! That and the timing of it made me sure mum sent it.

Yeah, that was the reason I hesitated at first. I just saw someone speeding today. I just have to be a very smart driver.*determined*

Yep! They have updated the rules and procedures because of the idiots on the road.*sigh*

Just keep alert, watch your speed, obey road signs, and don't tense up. You'll do fine! I believe in you.

I lost count how many times I did the practice test online until I was confident enough to pass.

It's about probability because its a selection of random questions. There are so many new road signs in code.

Good that you could practice online, that must have helped a lot. Not sure I'd know what all Briish road signs mean - they've most likely changed since I took my test.

Yeah, the last time it was free no matter how many times you fail. This way, they charge a booking fee implying that studying is essential.

I'm sure other people who have driven before the new road rules would agree with you. Most rules have change or been added to avoid mistakes that have happened in the past.

You'd think drivers would be kept up to date with changes to driving laws and road signs, but that doesn't seem to happen.

Apparently if they are good enough drivers then it shouldn't be an issue. There are still people who slack off though and that's really dangerous.

Road signs where you are probably aren't the same as the ones here in England. I don't drive far so I probably won't encounter anything I don't recognise, but I like knowing, just in case.

I think it's once every year when they update. Most likely you can get a new edition in hard copy from the local registry.

Yeah, some road signs end up looking like some kind of code in pictures. This equals this etc.*shrugs*
